Inquiry about bulk order of ceramic mugs (Minimum order and lead time)
Dear Ms. Rossi, My name is OOO, and I am a buyer at △△ Mall, an online retailer based in Seoul. I came across your ceramic mug collection on your website and would like to ask a few questions about a possible bulk order. 1. What is the minimum order quantity for the "Classic" series? 2. What is the lead time for an order of 2,000 pieces? A price list would also be very helpful. We hope to decide on our supplier by the end of November. Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, OOO Buyer, △△ Mall oooo@example.com
Delay notice: Shipment of Order #7803 (new date: November 8)
Dear Mr. Chen, I am writing to let you know that the shipment of order #7803 will be delayed by one week. The new shipping date is Friday, November 8, instead of November 1. The delay is due to a shortage of packaging materials from our supplier. We have already secured a replacement supply, and production is now back on track. If you need the goods earlier, we can ship half of the order on November 1 and the rest on November 8. Please let us know which option you prefer by Wednesday, October 23. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Best regards, OOO
"I am writing to let you know"로 바로 본론에 들어가고, 지연 기간(one week)과 새 날짜를 첫 두 문장에 넣었습니다.
Damaged items in Order #7803 – photos attached, replacement requested
Dear Ms. Rossi, Thank you for shipping order #7803. The goods arrived on October 28, but unfortunately we found a problem. On inspection, 48 of the 500 mugs were broken or cracked. I have attached photos of the damaged items and the packaging. We would like to request a replacement for the 48 damaged pieces. If possible, could you ship them with the next available shipment? We value our relationship with your company and would like to resolve this smoothly. Could you please confirm how you would like to proceed by Friday, November 1? Thank you for your help. Best regards, OOO
"We value our relationship"은 비난이 아니라 해결을 원한다는 신호입니다.
I am writing to ask about ~." / "I am writing to let you know that ~." / "Thank you for your email."
Could you please ~?" / "Would it be possible to ~?" / "We would appreciate it if you could ~."
Please find the attached file." / "I have attached ~ for your reference."
The new date is ~." / "We expect to ship by ~." / "Please let us know by ~."
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience." / "We apologize for the delay."
Thank you for your time." / "I look forward to hearing from you." / "Best regards,"
Hello. I am sorry for bothering you. Our delivery will be late because of some problem. Please look forward to the next week. I will send the shipping schedule attached file.
수정본Hello, I am writing to let you know that our delivery will be delayed by one week due to a shortage of materials. The new delivery date is Friday, November 8. Please find the updated shipping schedule attached. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- "I am sorry for bothering you"를 "I am writing to let you know"로 바꿨습니다.
- "because of some problem"을 "due to a shortage of materials"로 구체화했습니다.
- "Please look forward to the next week"
- "I will send the shipping schedule attached file"을 "Please find the updated shipping schedule attached"로 바꿨습니다.
|---|---|---|
| "I am sorry for bothering you."(첫 문장) | 용건 전에 사과가 나와 어색하고 자신감이 없어 보입니다. | "I am writing to ask about ~." |
| "We look forward to ~." / "The new date is ~." |
| "I will send you the attached file." | "Please find the attached file." |
| "Reply me." | "Please reply when you have a chance." |
| "It's a big problem." | "48 of the 500 items arrived damaged." |
| "Dear Ms. Rossi," |
| "We can't do that." | "Unfortunately, we are unable to ~ because ~." |
Could you / Would it be possible
